Jiang Ya, the richest woman in Jiuchi City and the chairwoman of Hanhai Group, married a poor man named Lu Lin. For her daughter Xixi, who was about to start elementary school, she had already purchased a prestigious school-district apartment called Chanyue No.1. However, she later discovers that Lu Lin has been cheating with a woman named Xiao Xue and has even been pretending to be the chairman of Hanhai Group, secretly using the apartment meant for Xixi to house his mistress and their illegitimate child.
