She gave birth in the countryside, her mother-in-law was hoping for a boy. She had already given birth to three daughters and her mother-in-law was extremely dissatisfied with this, even threatening to kick her out if she had another daughter. After giving birth to a fourth daughter, the mother-in-law took the child to the wellside claiming they couldn't afford to raise her and wanted to abandon the child.
